SeN’i omamori (Transition Protector)
In Sen’i Omamori, my idea was to have a protector for writers and authors. To me, one of the most important key to writing is the transition between phase and paragraph to make sense and make the story interesting.
The idea of this painting was inspired by the tale about a few koi fish were swimming against the current in the Yellow River. One day, they meet a waterfall and because the flow of the waterfall is too strong, some koi fish gave up. However, some didn’t. They kept trying and trying and after that a hundred year, a koi fish finally swim to the top of the waterfall and jump. God witness the koi fish strong will and turn it into a beautiful white dragon.
About the Character: Kihiro-san is the name of The Transition Protector. She is an author and a storyteller. As she was writing down the story Kiyoshi-san, the Creativity Protector was illustrating her story.
