OMAMORI, THE PROTECTORS

Omamori, The Protectors is an artist personal series, inspired by well known Japanese Amulets (御守) called Omamori.
The series includes on going illustrations about ten main characters. They represents The protector of: Creativity, Transition, Luck, Love, Technology, Health, Wealth, Happiness, Pets and Avoid Evil.
Omamori,  The Protectors is a character introduction. Each character leads to a good fortune that I want to pass onto the viewers or whoever possessed any part of this series.
The Creative Omamori is the character that appears in each illustration. Her ability allow her to turn her imagination mind to reality after she paints it out. Even though what turned real can only last until the ink applied on paper dry but she was able to experience so many mysterious things that might not exist or things that nobody can see except her. This character was inspired by myself. As an artist, I have the ability to illustrated my imagination and story. Creating a personal series allow me to express my interests in Japanese culture and my illustration language. I was also able to challenge myself by using different composition and color palettes for the series.
